
Patrick Milling-Smith is a film, TV, and theatre producer and co-founder and CEO of the international production company SMUGGLER. Patrick is focused on working with first-class creative talent to craft impactful work, regardless of the medium or platform. Patrick has produced Tony award-winning Broadway shows, category-defining virtual and augmented reality, a Grammy-winning album, and Cannes Lions, Clios, and Emmy-awarded storytelling. This June, Patrick and SMUGGLER won their fourth Palme d’Or and eleventh Grand Prix at the 68th Cannes Lions International Festival for Creativity.
Recent notable projects include Macbeth starring Daniel Craig and Ruth Negga; Broadway-bound musical Sing Street, playing at the Huntington Theatre in Boston this fall; Skittles Commercial: The Broadway Musical, starring Michael C. Hall, which was referred to as “The Best Super Bowl Ad of the Year” by Forbes; the Emmy Award-winning commercials for Sandy Hook Promise and SquareSpace; the internationally acclaimed and eight-time Tony Award-winning musical, Once; the stage adaptation of Robert Evans’ memoir, The Kid Stays in the Picture, which played a sold-out run at the Royal Court Theatre in London; and festival favourites Greetings From Tim Buckley and New York Times Critics’ Pick, Weightless.
Patrick serves on the board of immersive theater company Punchdrunk International, best known for Sleep No More, and was appointed jury chairman for both the Clio Awards and Ciclope Festival. This June 2022, Patrick served as the Film Jury President at the 68th Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. An acclaimed member of New York’s creative community, Patrick was awarded the Made In New York Award by Mayor Michael Bloomberg for his contributions to the city’s entertainment industry.
